Thank You to Barbara, Martha and Bart Hill !

The 2007 Grand Opening of Beattie House was a significant event for Barbara and Martha Hill. Barbara’s husband, the late Richard “Doc” Hill was a well known veterinarian in the community, and Barbara ran the lab department at the old Littleton Hospital for many years. All three of the couple’s children, including Martha, were born there. “The building has deep meaning for both of my parents and my father always had visions and hopes that this building would be rehabilitated into senior living someday.”  Recently Barbara, Martha and Bart presented AHEAD with a major gift in honor of Richard “Doc” Hill which allowed us to purchase two outdoor benches for Beattie House residents. Thank you!.

In 2007 AHEAD completed the rehabilitation of the Old Littleton Hospital into Beattie House, a 23 unit affordable housing facility for Seniors.
