AHEAD kicked-off our Centsible Families program at Groveton Elementary School. We shared information and balloons with parents and children. AHEAD staff will be teaching financial education in the 1st - 3rd classrooms.  Plus every student, grades 1 - 3 will receive a free College Savings Account compliments of AHEAD partner Passumpsic Bank .

Better Homes AHEAD - New energy efficient manufactured home loan program announced.   

A great crowd gathered to hear U.S. Congresswoman Ann McLane Kuster, Tony Hernandez of Rural Housing, Ted Brady of USDA Rural Development, Ron Major of Champion Home Builders and Mike Claflin of AHEAD introduce a first-of-its-kind ,low interest mortgage program for energy efficient manufactured and modular homes. click here to learn about the new loan program:

AHEAD was happy to host the Grand Opening Ceremony for the new Littleton VA clinic.  U.S. Senators Jeanne Shaheen and Kelly Ayotte were in attendance as were U.S. Congresswoman Ann McLane-Kuster and Adjutant General William Redell.

AHEAD Receives Citizens Bank "Champion in Action" Award!

We are proud to announce that we have been named the newest Citizens Bank Champion in Action in the category of Veterans Support. The contribution will be used for researching North Country Veterans housing needs, incentivizing Home Buyer Opportunites and Education and developing unique Financial Capabilities programs. Mount Eustis Commons! 

Mount Eustis Commons is now home to the Veteran Administration's new Community Based Outpatient Clinic (C-BOC).  A "soft" opening is scheduled for Monday June 29, 2015 where the VA will be holding its first few appointments.  You can read more about AHEAD and the VA C-BOC here:

NeighborWorks Week!

AHEAD had great success this year during NeighborWorks Week and we just love Friendship Park in Berlin!

The Children's Summer Food Service Program begins on June 29th and we are so happy that the neighborhood kiddos will have a new shade canopy.  

Thank you to H.P. Cummings Construction Company and NeighborWorks America for your generous contributions. Thank you City of Berlin, Berlin Public Works, Berlin Parks and Rec, Health Safety and Welfare, Berlin Fire Department (they watered the new grass), and Caron Building Center -- You all helped make this year's project great and we really love working with you!
