SAVE AHEAD IDA Program

AHEAD offers a special matched savings program called an Individual Development Account (IDA). If you qualify, every dollar deposited into your account is matched by another three. Up to $1,000 per year, $100 maximum monthly deposit, $2,000 total deposit maximum. Participants can save for the purchase of a home or for esixting homeowners, necessary home repairs. The program allows each participant to save up $2,000 of their own funds and have it matched with $6,000. That's $8,000 each participant can have towards the purchase of a home or home repairs. Equity Builder Program (EBP)

Funds are made available on an annual basis from the Federal Home Loan Bank of Boston to participating member banks to provide up to $10,000 in financial assistance for down payment and closing costs to income eligible first-time homebuyers. AHEAD Partners currently participating in this program include; Connecticut River Bank, Northway Bank, and Woodsville Guaranty Savings Bank. EBP Participating Lenders.
