Some participating lenders will provide you with a financial incentive, up to $500, at the time of closing if you have completed AHEAD's "Secrets of Homebuying" workshop. Check out the list of participating lenders. Register Now! SAVE AHEAD IDA ProgramAHEAD offers a special matched savings program called an Individual Development Account (IDA). If you qualify, every dollar deposited into your account is matched by another three. Up to $1,000 per year, $100 maximum monthly deposit, $2,000 total deposit maximum. Participants can save for the purchase of a home or for esixting homeowners, necessary home repairs. The program allows each participant to save up $2,000 of their own funds and have it matched with $6,000. That's $8,000 each participant can have towards the purchase of a home or home repairs. Each household is allowed to have up to two particpants. To enroll in the IDA program, start by taking one of our workshops. Register Now! Equity Builder Program (EBP)Funds are made available on an annual basis from the Federal Home Loan Bank of Boston to participating member banks to provide up to $15,000 in financial assistance for down payment and closing costs to income eligible first-time homebuyers. AHEAD Partners currently participating in this program include; Citizens Bank, Connecticut River Bank, Northway Bank, Passumpsic Bank and Woodsville Guaranty Savings Bank. EBP Participating Lenders. American Dream ProgramFunds are made available on an annual basis from the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development to New Hampshire Housing to provide up to 6% of a home's sales price or $10,000 (whichever is higher) in financial assistance for down payment and closing costs to income eligible first-time homebuyers. The program is offered through New Hampshire Housing's network of Participating Lenders and specific income limits apply. AHEAD's "Secrets of Homebuying" workshop is required to be eligible for these funds. Register Now! Rescue FundsAHEAD has designated a pool of funds specifically for homeowners who are experiencing a temporary financial setback and have fallen behind with their mortgage. The funds are available to eligible households who are able to afford their current mortgage payment or could afford their monthly payment if their mortgage was modified with a lower or fixed interest rate. Specific guidelines apply to this program, for more information attend a "Mortgage Rescue Clinic" which are held on the first and third Thursday of each month in Littleton from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. Register Now! |
