Secrets of Homebuying - Saturday, September 9th in Littleton

AHEAD Inc. Announces Fall Workshop Schedule Littleton, NH, August 2023. AHEAD announces the two remaining in-person dates for their Secrets of Homebuying workshop as well as additional weekly financial education workshops. In part, due to a generous sponsorship with Union Bank, Secrets of Homebuying will be held in Littleton September 9th and November 11th. This HUD-approved workshop provides participants with an overview of the entire homebuying process and helps prepare and inform homebuyers for an increasingly competitive market. Studies conducted by HUD, have proven that those individuals who complete a HUD-certified Homebuyer Education course are 30% less likely to ever default on their mortgage. Additionally, AHEAD offers free weekly 1-hour virtual financial education workshops. These workshop cover topics such as couponing, credit scoring, avoiding financial scams, budgeting and much more. Union Bank will be sponsoring “Understanding Savings & Investing” on October 25th, “Homebuying for the Self-employed” on November 8th, “Cracking Credits Code” on November 15th and “Avoiding Financial Scams” on November 29th. AHEAD also aims to launch their newly created free workshop titled “After You Close” on October 14th. This in person, post-purchase workshop targets existing homeowners, teaching participants how to maintain their home, save for future home repairs, understand refinance options and energy saving upgrades during this 3-hour interactive workshop. All participants in this workshop will receive a free tool kit.
