Rental Properties

AHEAD owns and operates 273 units of affordable multifamily rental housing in nine northern New Hampshire communities.  The management of 51 of our units is contracted out to Stewart Property Management Company.  AHEAD co-owns Northern Community Management Company (NCMC) which is a for-profit management company that manages the remainder of our units plus another 1,150+ units in New Hampshire’s Upper Valley and parts of central and northeastern Vermont.  We develop an average of 10 new units per year using a combination of new construction and substantial rehabilitation.

Income limits do apply for all AHEAD properties.  A portion of AHEAD's rental properties offer below-market rate rent. The remainder of our properties are subsidized (meaning residents pay approximately 30% of their gross monthly income).  Inquire directly with each property management company for additional information.
