Budget and Credit Counseling

If you already own a home, AHEAD's certified HomeOwnership Advisor can work with you to establish a household budget and address your credit needs. During an individual session our Advisors can go through your current income and expenses, review an updated credit report and work with you to achieve your financial goals. Refinancing

AHEAD's staff can review your current financial situation and help you determine if refinancing is a viable option for you. We do not provide any direct refinancing products but we work closely with our local lenders and will be able to assist you in locating a product that best meets your needs. IDA for Home Repairs

AHEAD offers a special matched savings program called an Individual Development Account (IDA).  If you qualify, every dollar deposited into your account is matched by another three. Up to $1,000 per year, $100 maximum monthly deposit, $2,000 total deposit maximum. The program allows each participant to save up $2,000 of their own funds and have it matched with $6,000. That's $8,000 each participant can have towards necessary home repairs. Each household is allowed to have up to two particpants.  To enroll in the IDA program for home repairs, start by scheduling an appointment with one of our HomeOwnership Advisors. **There are currently no funds available for IDA for Home Repairs.  Request an appointment now.   Download our IDA brochure.
